What's important about your servers' physical environment?

<p>At the bottom of the Internet Delivery Stack is your server's physical environment. For some, this might be the a closet in the office suite, the server sitting on the carpet floor. For others it might be in a high secure facility 10 floors off the ground. Critical factors about the environment are it's physical security; protection from fire or water; humidity and temperature. </p><p>For each of these there are both preventative and reactive systems. For example our data center's biometric thumb print reader prevents unauthorized access while our video cameras don't.
